I very seldom had any kind of sickness for years.
1-Alpha-gal syndrome, from a tick bite.
2-Muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) Of the throat.
3- I had or still have H. pylori
4- Multiple pulmonary nodules
1-Right hand and arm reconstructed after industrial accident. 30 yrs ago
2- Double hernia repair with mesh 20 yrs ago.
3- Kidney stone removal surgery in the last two months.
4- Multiple stitches from cuts over the years
5-Broke nose 12 yrs ago
6-One cracked rib 6 yrs ago
7- When i was born I was strangled by umbilical cord.
9- Surgey to repair torn tendon
10- Heart, seen was a small calcium build up in my aortic artery.
11-Twice I was DOA at ER arrival
9- Had stomach virus all the time when i was young.
I did not sleep for 1 week, I was just not sleepy.
12- I do have all the markers for diabetes autoimmune disease

Excuse me, but your health-experiences account is quite mingled up, thereby overly confusing (at least me) and even contradictory. How can you say, you had no sickness for years? - While having a medical history starting right at birth? Or do you mean as young adult only?

What do you think were the most co-factoring diseases leading up to your ME/CFS? And which still need addressing?

Hi
I understand the confusion, it is not you. It is hard for me to stay focused currently.
I consider injuries or operations as not being sick .
I call it a life learning experience
Childhood
#1 Was born with umbilical cord around me kneck.
#2 I had stomach flu up to age of 13 monthly.

From the age of 13 up to 2021
I have not had any colds , stomach viruses or any kind of flu.
In the above time frame only kidney stone issues

2021 to present. Everything below except for the kidney stone surgery
Was found by test and scans when I came down with CFS

#1 I have all the markers for diabetes autoimmune disease
#2 Alpha-gal syndrome, from a tick bite
#3 Muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) Of the throat.
#4 I had or still have H. pylori, I have not been tested yet to see
#5 Multiple pulmonary nodules
#6 I had Omicron covid and two other variants, and I think 4 covid shots
#7 Kidney stone removal surgery in the last two months.

2021 to mid 2022
#1 I had the Omicron viruse
#2 Developed CFS
#3 Lost my job because I could not work
#4 Had to sell our home and property
Since we could not pay our mortage.
This was a big mental strain and we only had five years left to pay it off.
#5 We moved in with our daughter and husband, untill we could find a place of our own.
This was a real mental strain on me because I had always been the provider and took care of everyone, no matter what they needed.

#6 I think the mental strain played the largest part.
#7 Covid , other than being sick multiple times with it, I really dont know if it played any part in my CFS.

What do I need to address?
That is the Million dollar Question
#1 Get over the chronic fatigue so I can live a productive life.

I am open to suggestions and any specialty Dr. reccomendations.

I do apologize for giving you a headache trying to understand
What I had typed.
It took me almost one hour to type this response.
I focused very hard on makeing it legible, with decent grammer.
Thank you for asking your Question
Focusing hard to supply an answer has helped me more than I can describe in words!
Thank you

I wrote you a comment then it vanished ...so see link above.

Hi
It may be hard to believe but I am completely New to all forms of social media, where you comment or make a reply
I have the reply problem sometimes too.
I did figure out one of the problems.
If there are a lot of replies it creates a new page and when you go back to your reply you are actually on a new page.
At the bottom of the page thier is a page button I think its forward/ previous/ next.
Your reply may be on a previous page.
I am new to all of this experience .
And I apologize if I said anything wrong or rude to you.

Thanks so much for the effort you took. Which helps me to voice some suggestions.

What do I need to address?
That is the Million dollar Question
#1 Get over the chronic fatigue so I can live a productive life.

I asked this question, because in my case most former health issues from being born, actually became co-factors in the final conditions I fought. PEMs were a last pinnacle only. Also with me, it actually started with a much debilitating walking-disability from PAD and COPD, where comprehensive lifestyle changes and Orthomolecular supplementation couldn't bring quick improvements. As diseases, which are usually considered mercilessly progressing, and available standard interventions able to slow somewhat only.

Therefore, to get feedback for improvements or worsening through my interventions, I used as many lab-tests as possible. And there I saw the damage done long in the past since my birth: with difficulties with the heart, lung, liver, kidneys, spleen, androgens, thyroid, glucose metabolism, etc., - where it seemed intuitive to tackle even the slightest dysfunction of any body-system, to reverse the usually considered non-reversible main conditions.

I consider injuries or operations as not being sick .
I call it a life learning experience

Luckily, I miss this life experience, except one broken food joint as a child. But with my PAD at age 40 I was offered a vascular prothesis, instead of my abdominal aorta down to the legs. Recommending MDs couldn't give much advice on possible risk. Therefore, I found elsewhere, on the German Wikipedia:

The most frequent complications after the use of vascular prostheses are blockage (occlusion) due to excessive tissue formation in the neointima region (hyperplasia) or due to detachment of parts of the pseudointima, infections of the implant, problems with the material structure, as well as the development of aneurysms and pseudoaneurysms in the anastomosis region.

Five to ten years after implantation, around 90 percent of prostheses still function in the aorta area and the adjacent vessels, while prostheses with a diameter of less than six to eight millimeters have a success rate of less than 50 percent after five years. In general, the higher the flow resistance in the implant area, the lower the prospects for short-term and long-term function.

And declined this invasive procedure. All my organs were already damaged, I didn't need a further damage done. Especially where I probably would survive a further repair at age 60, but already a decade later probably wouldn't.

No question, in an accident where the aorta was torn apart, there isn't such considerate choice left, and I immediately would agree. But not in my situation, with the ability to weight risks with benefits.

I would in your place consider the possibility, beside all other conditions, that the surgeries - at the right arm, the kidney stone, multiple stitches, broken bones and tendon, but especially the hernia repair with mesh - could as well be maybe small, but significant co-factors to your final breakdown.

Never the big one cause, but small contributions.

#6 I think the mental strain played the largest part.

I can't help but immediately see similarity to the stress of a newborn being strangled. Again, not one big, but certainly one further small contributor. Therefore, I would also take care of improving emotional resilience and stress tolerance.

#7 Covid , other than being sick multiple times with it, I really dont know if it played any part in my CFS.
...
#1 Get over the chronic fatigue so I can live a productive life.

I am open to suggestions and any specialty Dr. reccomendations.

Covids, or their not-long term tested vaccines, are of course the final straw which broke the camel's back. And needs to be primarily addressed.

For now, your productive life is in addressing your health difficulties as a whole. Since all your damages are, as in my case, reflected by regular lab-tests of organs functioning: I would monitor them for improvements or worsening together with trialed intervention. Don't rely on the immediately 'felt' only. Repair might take years, as in my case, and with nothing felt during the first years.

This is only a suggestion from my particular experience of this disease and remission of symptoms. Discard, if it disagrees with you in any way. Finding a specialty Dr., who treats you as a whole, would of course be ideal. But I didn't find one accessible to me. Therefore, I helped myself. Of course, with lots of gracious help on health forums.

If you decide to, would you like to share most common lab-tests results? Regular things, like kidney function, liver enzymes, lipid and blood glucose markers, androgens, CBC, etc.? So I could point out what to watch for?

By the way, on the outset I had a cystitis of the bladder, 2 non-circulated nodules in the liver, and 2 tubercles in the lung. As a side effect of my approach, all except 1 tubercle ceased. Also, angina-like chest pains, psoriasis and retinal migraines gone.
Hi
You are a very strong person , with exceptional will power!
I can relate to some of your decisions
When my hand and arm was severly damaged the surgeon reccomended amputation at my elbow.
I told the surgeon I would only accept having the body parts I was born with remain a part of me!
I told him the company I work for was paying the bills and if he did not feel confident then get another surgeon ,
Fly one in if it is necessary or stabile it and I will go somewhere else.
The surgeon told me he would do the surgery , but he could not guarentee
The results .
I told him as long as I had my hand and arm I dont care what the results are.
After a lot of surgeries and rehab everthing turned out good in my opion.
My right hand does not have any feeling but that is fine , everything works !
Back note- I was life flighted to Shands in Gainesville Florida.
And during the flight in the helicopter
We almost crashed with a small air plane violating thier air space!
I can say the helicopter pilot done a miraculus job avoiding the crash!
All I could think about was here I am strapped onto a stretcher and if we go down theirs no way I am gonna be able to step out before we hit the ground! Lol

Hi
Again
Were you born premature?

I had a Great day yesterday it was our Sons Birthday ! Technically he is our son inlaw but we have verbally adopted him as our own son.
We could not have asked for a better life partner for our Daughter.

We all had a Great time.
I am sore all over today, it was the most I have moved around in over one year.

I do have more the share , present medications and test results .
I have to work on how to post them .
Thank for everything!

Glad you enjoyed.

Were you born premature?

No, but with a pneumonia (preconditioning the COPD already) treated with antibiotic IVs. Causing chalk teeth. That taught my being cautious with pharma and invasive interventions.

And during the flight in the helicopter

I can say the helicopter pilot done a miraculus job avoiding the crash!

Now I understand why you call it learning experiences.

I have had a time in my life! For Sure.

The reason I asked if you were born premature .
I read an article that said a large amount of people during a certain time frame recieved way too much oxygen at birth and they latter developed a lot of other ailments.
COPD they believe was caused by too much oxygen being given. At birth.
I cant remember what year it was when the medical industry discovered they were giving way too much oxygen at birth and changed the procedure.
Maybe in the 70's or 80's?

On a full moon, Monday morning during many deliveries stress in the hospital, before 70's. My mother allegedly reminded the too busy nurses repeatedly, to clear the amniotic fluid, she heard me blubber further away. No oxygen, or if, with the fluid? I doubt. Pneumonia as result, and which alone already is a strong cause for later COPD.

It's intriguing how such details can already determine later life. Mother actually wanted a home birth, GP declined. How such small details can change the course.

I am a firm believer the small details that matter.
In my past experience diagnosing equipment problems and failures it always was the small details no one noticed that created the present condition.

That is why I dont accept the word Accident
ac·ci·dent
/ˈaksədnt/
noun
1 an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury:

2 an event that happens by chance or that is without apparent or deliberate cause:

That definition is not Accurate.
1 If I am driving and texting and wreck
How can I claim it was an accident?
2 If I wasnt paying attention to what I was doing , looking around , day dreaming and I cut my finger that is not an accident , it was own fault for not paying attention on why I cutting something in the first place.
Everything happens for a reason!
It is a constant Action / Reaction.
That is why I call it a Life experience.
Life teaches everyone a lesson.

If I punch a wall and it hurts for no reason , life is telling me I should not do that again , some people learn that
And others may learn that only after a few times.

Part -3

Present and past medical conditions

1-Alpha-gal syndrome, from a tick bite.

I cannont eat beef , except for a filet cut.

I cannot eat store bought eggs, but i can eat open range or home raised eggs.

2-Muscle tension dysphonia (MTD)

Of the throat.

3- I had or still have H. pylori

4- Multiple pulmonary nodules

I have a yearly Ct scan done and in 3 years they have not changed in size.

Surgeries , injuries and other sickness

1-Right hand and arm reconstructed after industrial accident. 30 yrs ago

2- Double hernia repair with mesh 20 yrs ago.

3- Kidney stone removal surgery in the last two months.

4- Multiple stitches from cuts over the years

5-Broke nose 12 yrs ago

6-One cracked rib 6 yrs ago

7- When i was born I was strangled by umbilical cord.

8- Complete torn tendom during treadmill stress test on right elbow

The Stress test was planned to be a two part procedure. First get my heart rate up , then step off and lay on the bed then have my heart checked with the doppler ultrasound.

What actually occured About 3 minutes in walking my legs gave out and i grabbed the handrail on my way down their was a loud popping sound and everyone was trying to catch me. Afterwards I could not straighten my arm below my elbow.

They took me in a wheelchair and had my elbow scan, results completed torn tendon from the bone.

9- Surgey to repair torn tendon

10- Heart, was back to have the doplar ultrasound, this time they used a medication to induce heart rate. Results all Heart functions were fine, only thing seen was a small calcium build up in my aortic artery.

11-Twice I was DOA at ER arrival

Due to antibiotic allergy reaction

In the pennicilin family. I had taken pennicilin quite a few times no problems.

Luckily we were only 12 miles from Hospital, and when i could not fight it any longer and passed out my Great Wife beat me on the chest with her fist while driving.

They gave me Cpr and shots while i was lying down in the vehicle seat

Untill they got a pulse and they could get me in the hospital.

My Pcp told me after it happened the first time that he had thought about giving me a shot instead of prescribing a 250 mg pill.

He told me if he had gave me the shot I would not have made it out of his office alive.

The time I had no heartbeat or pulse was unknown both times.

I left Er both times in about 3 hours feeling fine.

9- Wife and I was bank fishing at the lake , I slip or fainted and fell on tackle box left side on my ribs and I couldnt get focused or fully awake.

Wife called 911 and other people ran over and provided shade and wet rags on my forehead.

I was alert in the Ambulance. Scans showed I had 5 seperated ribs from falling on tackle box.

Test showed I was slightly dehydrated , they gave me several Iv's.

I had dranked 3 bottles of water in the hour we were fishing , even though we were in the shade
9- Had stomach virus all the time when i was young.

Could have been from badly prepared food, from others or myself.

10- I have had the TMS procedure.

I did not sleep for 1 week, I was just not sleepy.

Did not do anything for me.

11- Was sent to have multiple mental evaluations.

12- I do have all the markers for diabetes autoimmune disease

Basically I will have Or could develope Lada diabetes.

I have had my blood sugar tested 24/7 for one year. Blood sugar has been normal the whole time.

13- Have had multiple Ct and Mri scans.

Medications Doctors have tried for any immune related issues.

Imbrel

Cimzia

Skyrizzi

Taltz

Otezla

None of the above have helped me

Though they have helped Millions of people with immune issues and specific diseases.

Doing biologics do have thier own risks.

Everyone I have know had to try several different ones untill they found one that worked for them .

My Doctors and others are currently working on my insurance denied new biologic and they are working on the Appeal.

Mental health should be everyone's first step and seek immediate Help

Regardless whether you think you have mental issues or not!

People do have Mental issues and they cannot reconize it, and others around you cannot see it either.

Some people can be affraid to discuss it with you.

Depression medications

My Psychiatrists has prescribed 5 different anti depressant, adhd, ptsd

And Mad medications which covers a wide range of conditions.

I do not have the names of the past meds, i did not document them for some reason.

I will discuss all the medications and some that have completely changed my life recently.

Dr. Trial

My Dr. wanted to trial me on a medium dose of prednisone for two weeks.

Long term usage is not reccomended.

I started on 30 mg daily at the end of two weeks I did not experience any change , on the 3rd week i went through the normal withdraw procedure smaller dosages daily until it was complete.

I was off all prednisone on a Friday.

Here is the fasination part, on Monday around 1 pm I was lying down on the couch and my heart started beating faster I could feel it beating faster.

Then starting from my chest radiating out to my arms and legs and all over I started having a tingling sensation and power surging to my whole body, after about 30 minutes I setup and felt energized !

I was a completely new person!

I felt like i was 18 again!

My heart beat was strong when i went to sleep , the next morning I woke up at 6 am and my heart was back beating normal.

For 6 days straight I felt Great!

I did not do anything except enjoy the feeling, I didnt try to do anything where i would be over exerted.

I just chilled and enjoyed the feeling.

On the following Monday I had the kidney stone surgery and when i woke up in recovery I was back having Chronic Fatigue , and the Hot feeling was back , I felt so hot I thought the sheets were going to catch on fire!

Next medicine trial and it is having some positive results.

Adderall, it does come at a cost.

The energy it gives you does have to come from other body resources.

Started taking Adderall , I can take a total of 10 mg daily, my pills are 5mg

Presently July 29th it has Greatly improved my life.

Present Medications/Vitamins

All below was Dr. reccomended

Low dose asprin

Clonazepam .5 mg

Adderall up to 10mg

PristiQ 50mg

B12 1000mg

Vit D2 1.25mg

B3 niacinamide 1000mg

Berberine 1800 mg

Probiotics 120 billion cfu's

Nac 600 mg

Magnesium L- threonate 2000mg

Vitamins and supplements.

I have also tried what a lot of people have have tried on this forum, without any personal results.

I am current working on blood test result.

Mother actually wanted a home birth, GP declined.
in the states, I doubt you could find a GP who would ever agree to such a thing.

I was fortunate we at least had an actual doctor backing up the midwives, but it was in the next town. Meaning, I had to drive to the next town to reach the doctor while on hour 38 of labor with a stuck baby. And one died of cord complications.

Hi
I am Sorry for your Loss
Some people here in the USA
Practice home delivery , all natural without a midwife or Dr.
Family members handle everything.
I don't know the success rate.

My Cousin's wife had her baby in the backseat of thier car, I was over visiting and she went into labor and by the time we got her in the car she was having the baby.
He delivered the baby while I was running back and forth bringing him things he wanted.
The baby was Beautiful!
Then he drove them to the hospital
And everyone was fine and doing good.

If you decide to, would you like to share most common lab-tests results? Regular things, like kidney function, liver enzymes, lipid and blood glucose markers, androgens, CBC, etc.? So I could point out what to watch for?
Test results from 3 months ago.

Great, you kept them. With lab-tests, it's important to know, that normal range is usually a statistical construct only. Thereby, the lab calculates normal ranges by subtracting the upper and lower 2.5%, considered too high and too low, and determines the middle 95% as normal. From all their tested result. With the caveat, that most people get their labs tested rather sick, than healthy.

For determining rare MDs take reverence ranges out of literature, where subsequent lowest mortality was found, or out of integrative and functional clinical medicine practice. Such optimal reference ranges are what I compared it too, and thereby found problems, no MD would even mention. Because their education didn't really prepare them to, nor do they usually have the time to communicate disease prevention. Easier than treatment.

For example, my postprandial blood-glucose was consistently pre-diabetic (above 140 mg/dl), and adjusting diet accordingly could prevent a sure T2D.

As you know, individual lab-tests are only a momentary picture, and can fluctuate widely. Then there are the complexities, for example with other issues, where out of range values could momentarily even be beneficial. Individual lab errors also do occur. And due to biochemical individuality, optimal ranges still might not be your optimal ranges. You seem to be are aware too, that some values have little meaning, as with B12, if already supplementing, or serum magnesium. Where, for example, MMA or RBC magnesium, testing gives more predictive values.

To overcome all such shortcomings, one better documents all repeated lab-test in a spreadsheet, like that:

Code:
  - longevity range | optimal | normal | Jul | Apr | - |

Ferritin | 119-200 | 50-90 | 24-336 ng/m | 313 | 355 | - |

Also ordering the test according to body or metabolic system, does give clues, where underlying problems need to be addressed. And as time passes, one can correlate interventions (supplements, life-style changes and medication) to improving or worsening lab markers. Especially with changes, which would take too long, and aren't felt through symptoms.

In another post, you mentioned:
I look at it this way.
I trust the Dr. with my health or I wouldn't go to a Dr.
Just as well be honest.

It took me years to find a GP who at least tested more than usual, following most of my suggestions. Others already felt offended by such. Where I live, only MDs privately insured or paid out of the pocket would do. The 2 private MDs I trialled, didn't. And in the long term wouldn't be affordable for my low income.

Also, my former life-experiences with medical care taught me the hard way, mistakes do happen. Which only the patient has to bear with the bad-health consequences. One still needs to go to MDs, at least for diagnostics.

You are in a different situation. And my approach to monitoring lab-tests might not be feasible or practical for you. In my case, it was the means to affect multiple unlikely remissions. With the slight aid of MDs, without trusting one who can spend only minutes on my case, or temporary results only. I wouldn't even trust myself with so little consideration.

Feel free to do, as your situation allows. My approach does take time and efforts in self-education.
