Hello to my fellow peers

Has any one had a Cardiopulmonary Exercise test to prove objective evidence in a ME/CFS disability case? And if so was it successful. I would love to hear your stories. I have read the cardiopulmonary Exercise test is the the gold standard test in proving inability to work.
Thanks so much

I can tell you that my disability insurance wanted me to get a two day stress test. My specialist doctor did not allow me to go for it because he felt that it would be very harmful for me so he wrote a letter to the insurance company stating that he can't allow me to undergo a test that will be harmful for me. This was after they had already payed me for 5 years and then abruptly stopped and I was appealing them. I lost the appeal and one of their contentions was that I refused to take this test.

Is that the heart stress test using a treadmill? If so I've had that one but it didnt show anything one needs these kinds of tests over TWO days (they only gave me the one test). I was lucky not to injure myself thou as I couldnt coordinate my legs fast enough when they started up the treadmill so fell from it (from the end ..it took me back with it and pulled my hands away from the support) and head first onto the floor due to the loss of balance.
