Brown/rusty colour on my hand

I have noticed this morning that I have a brownish/rusty colour on the part of my palm on one hand. I tried rubbing it off, but it won’t come off.

Any recommendations? P.S. I haven’t come into contact with any dye or substances that could cause this.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I’ve had my cortisol levels tested over a 24 hour period, and it was pretty high. So I don’t think it would be that in my case.
