bicillin injections

Can anyone tell me the common dosage frequency for bicillin im injections?

I cant find anything black and white, but seems that it can be a weekly injection although I have read some have it twice weekly.

It just seems a better alternative than daily iv abx such a ceftriaxone??

im just looking at this as a possible treatment for bacterial sinusitis, maybe in combo with oral abx eg macrolide?

Sort of answers it. Obviously long acting if some conditions only need 1 dose. Im guess that conditions that need chronic treatment its probably atleast dosed once per week???

I didn't read the whole thing initially. It's basically long-acting penicillin (at least by the link I posted anyway). I used to have to get them 3 to 4 times a year when I was around age 6, or so, up until I was 15 because I got tonsillitis that often. Once I turned 15 or 16 I never had any problems with my tonsils until cancer struck! Their gone now!
