I tried to find out more from others on this when I was on Twitter. Almost no one seemed to talk about it. I don't know if they didn't want to or what, but it was the one thing that I mentioned that had near silence as a response.

Back in 2007, I was having difficulty typing. I saved a sample of what was going on, and wound up seeing a Neuropsychologist who put me through various tests which determined that I have (had? - have not been retested since) medium range damage to the fine motor skills area.

It was indeterminate as to the cause - he mentioned it could have been the fibromyalgia, the chronic stress, or even the auto accident (which, I find very unlikely).

Regardless, I am curious to know if any others experience similar issues.

There's a few threads on MRI's people have had. Have you had a brain mri done?
My mri showed white matter lesions, blood vessel inflammation and empty Sella Syndrome. Many here show similar results.

Are you aware of a condition called Hypopituitarism caused by brain injuries.? Lots re this on web and on youtube This condition is poorly diagnosed/not recognised by many doctors.Professor Chris Thompson(Beaumont/Dublin) mentioned some years ago that about 30,000 ME/CFS cases in UK were misdiagnosed and actually had brain injuries ,resulting in Hypopituitarism.

.I suffer from such a condition....took over 40 years to get a diagnosis(after I researched it)and treatment. The treatment consists of daily injections of Growth hormone and Testogel(gel for testosterone deficiency).Joanna Lane(activist in this field)has written a very good book on this subject.....

Mother of a Suicide: Fighting for the Truth: The Battle for the Truth Behind a Mental Health Cover-up
Also Dr Mark Gordon(see youtube) has helped War veterans in USA/ice hockey players and American Footballers in this field.....all suffered head injuries(concussions)...You mention a car accident so that could be your problem too....

I take Testosterone injections (1 cc every other week), and that really helps my condition. Years ago, my one Endocrinologist lowered the amount, and my ME/CFS got worse. I was in bed most of the day compared to just my mid-day nap that I take. Thankfully my current dr. put it back up after I told him what happened. I have not tried HGH (Growth Hormone).

But no, I have never heard of it before.
