Anxiety triggered by mold

Binders and time, possibly quercetin or some other antiallergy med to ease the blow. Whenever I got exposed too much these days I tend to just take a bunch of activated charcoal, flush out what I can, and the rest is a waiting game till the effects from the exposure die down on their own.

This is why most houses that catch fire are a total loss even if the fire is put out rapidly and most of the house seems intact. Thousands of gallons of water are used and everything inside will be soaked, the carpet, furniture, walls. Within a few days mold can be detected and spreads fast. The drywall itself will soak up moisture and the water gets inside the walls. Repairing everything leads to a house no one can live in because of the mold and smoke. Thats why those houses are usually condemned by the authorities.

If you see or smell mold move out immediately

Not only the water used by firefighters to put the fire out, but the fire can sometimes vaporize water from the plumbing supply lines. Heard a story from an engineer inspector from an insurance company describe one case where the fire was isolated to the basement mechanical room and it or smoke didn't touch any other part of the house - looked brand new. But the intensity of the fire melted the PEX plumbing & water supply lines, so the fire instantly vaporized ton of water into steam, which filled the entire house. Every inch of the walls and roof were filled with mold. House had to be torn down despite the fire or smoke barely touching anything. Also insurance wouldn't / couldn't pay bc of some reason that I can't remember but made sense on a technicality.

Hi, has anyone got any suggestions of anything that might help with anxiety/depression that comes on after mold exposure?
I think neuroinflammation is the cause of your anxiety/depression or atleast significantly involved/present after mold.

For immediate benefit that you can get right away is peptides Semax and Selank in nasal spray form.

But for a more comprehensive approach is below:

Concentrate on detoxing the mold as much as possible. Binders & typical mold detox. But if you can, try to sauna & sweat a ton. Studies of firefighters (I think, or construction workers), who were hospitalized due to mold, got rid of all measured mold by sauna alone. Can get some cheapo sit in sauna's on Amazon for ~$100 or Aliexpress for cheaper probably.

I would target Mast Cell Acitivation Syndrome too. Research MCAS for more info and for treatments using meds (H1/H2 blockers, cromolyn) and supplements (leuteolin, quercetin). Mold can often trigger over activation of mast cells, which product a ton of inflammation themselves.

I would also concentrate on treating neuroinflammation as much as possible, which is likely the cause of the anxiety & depression. It's tough to do as there's not many ways to do it. But NMDA antagonists like ketamine, agmatine or memantine, nicotine patches (see nicotine protocol on twitter/FB, for covid mainly), DXM (ingredient in cough syrup), etc. will lower brain inflammation. Supplements too can help. For sure PEA (palmytlethanolamide) and OEA (oleylethanolamide), Sphingolin, plasmalogens (but very expensive). Others I can't remember exact ones but these would help: curcumin, black seed oil, cumin, DHA/EPA, other stuff can search online. Rutin targets glutamate excitotoxicity, so suppelements to target glutmate exocitotoxicity too may help. HBOT can help with neuroinflammation (from head injuries mostly) but is very expensive & not easily available. Peptides can help with inflammation (TA1, TB4/TB500, BPC157, brain (See inflam peptides, Cerebrolysin, Oxytocin, and specifically for mold specifically (Vasointenstial peptide VIP, Melanotan 2 for MSH if you believe Shoemaker protocol).

For immediate benefit that you can get right away is peptides Semax and Selank in nasal spray form. They actions/benefits over lap, but Selank is better for anxiety and depression. Semax is better for "stimulation"/mood/brain activation. But worth expirementing with each one and both.

At the moment I'm in a hurricane and water is rising. It has already entered the house, one room and contents are now standing in water and it keeps rising. If the whole house is flooded it will be lost even if no wind damage. My bedroom is standing in water, I have no idea what I will find in the morning but its already bad. Funny how we were just discussing water damage

Have you ever tried Sphingolin yourself? I found only one product of it out there and a couple places with reviews. Says it's a source of bovine myelin sheath and I have issues with land animal meat down to the juices from them, should this be an issue with it? I'm interested in trying it though as from what I can find out of the negatives so far from people they said it simply did nothing.

No, sorry. I've never tried it. But, if you have such issues with animals, I'd probably stay away from it.
