Anxiety from manure

Hi all,
I react with bad anxiety to manure, it's so clearly that this comes up when manure is in the air.

Does someone else also reacts to manure and/or have an idea what causes a reaction?
Could it be the nitrogen in manure?

Thanks for thinking along.

It might be from the mould and fungi in the manure, and the toxins these microbes create. Google tells me that a fungus-like bacterium called Actinomycetes is also present in manure. These microbes digest and break down the components of the manure.

Recently, Actinobacteria have been implicated in mould illness (CIRS). Actinobacteria grow in the same damp places as mould, and along with mould, may lead to CIRS, according to Dr Ritchie Shoemaker.

Actinomycetes is a type of Actinobacteria.

That is very interesting information Hip, I never knew Actinobacteria is in manure. I did found out about ammonia.
But since I have CIRS this actinobacteria might be the cause. Arghh I just moved to a new house which is pretty far away from agriculture, but I forgot to take the wind direction into account when choosing the house. :(
Thanks again, very valuable information.

Manure produces four gasses: Hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, methane and ammonia. These appear to be able to activate the NLRP3 inflammasome causing pro inflammatory cytokines so that is more likely the reason. I know that some promote the air pollution aspect of harm, but its only one of numerous inflammatory exposures people may encounter regularly as well.

Interesting. Studies have revealed a wide diversity of bacteria in the atmosphere including Actinobacteria so that also may be relevant based on research findings in general and being in manure. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0160412020321115

Perhaps using a air purifier with a hepa filter indoors would be helpful to those who are currently in an inflammatory state to help reduce potential exposure to some excess inflammation sources.

I don't specifically get a reaction like that to manure but I have similar reaction to both artificial and essential oil based scents. It's a very specific set of symptoms. I'll feel with a quick onset anxiety ridden and somewhat panic-y, my face will get this weird icy hot feeling, I'll get very jittery, eyes will usually get pretty bloodshot, and I'd say I get more cognitive fog than brain fog from it. It's not like generally being foggy, I'll have more issues thinking, word finding, and reasoning.
