A good paper about the complexity of non-neuronal cells in the brain

It's a fairly lengthy paper, but it has a lot of information about specialized functions in the brain, which might possibly be involved in ME. It shows just how complex the brain is, and how some very small populations of specific cells can have major effects. To me it seems all too plausible for a few tanycytes or other specialized cells in a small part of the brain to have a cascade effect that would account for all ME symptoms.

No real answers for PWME, but educational about what could go wrong in the brain to cause ME symptoms.
