Has Quercetin helped your sensitivity to allergies?

I'm trying to find something (more/new) that will help reduce my sensitivities, particularly to foods, but also to fumes and chemicals in general in my MCS. I've read a lot about Quercetin in the last week, including both PubMed articles and anecdotal evidence that it helps both the histamine...

Link between POTS, MCAS and CFS - Innate inflammation in response to an antigen..t-cell exhaustion's role?

31:00 onwards Dr Grubb explains which autoantibodies are found in POTS and suggests they are driven firstly by the innate immune system, including mast cell mediators and other cytokines, which then triggers the adaptive immune system to make autoantibodies . He argues it can't be coincidence...

Cytokine profiling of extracellular vesicles isolated from plasma in ME/CFS: a pilot study (Giloteaux et al., 2020)

A new publication on extracellular vesicles (such as exosomes) in ME: https://translational-medicine.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12967-020-02560-0 Highlights: ME patients had more extracellular vesicles of size 30-130nm than healthy controls. The researchers only looked at cytokines in...

Can’t or Won’t? Immunometabolic Constraints on Dopaminergic Drive. Treadway MT et al. Trends Cogn Sci. (2019)

Interesting review of research on the impact of inflammation on the dopamine system as well as a theoretical model and computational method trying to connect it all. Could be a hypothesis as to why Abilify and dopaminergic agents have some partial efficacy in ME, even if it is temporary (so...

Neuroinflammation and Cytokines in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS): A Critical Review of Research Methods

I did a search and couldn't find this posted. Very interesting view of cytokines in ME/CFS! Michael B. VanElzakker* seems to be the lead Author. Neuroinflammation and Cytokines in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS): A Critical Review of Research Methods Michael B...
