PANDORAs First Town Hall Virtual Meeting -

Guest Speaker: Mr. Patrick Erin Murphy, a candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives, district 22 in the state of Florida.

This first webinar will be part of a series of Advocacy and Lobby Days that we hope to bring to our community in the months ahead. It is part of the Advocates Extraordinaire(TM) Program, an ongoing advocacy leadership program sponsored by PANDORA to create awareness for

NeuroEndocrineImmune diseases (NEIDs)

Our goals include to reach out and educate current and future political candidates in the crucial issues at least 20 million Americans, who are their constituents are forced to face. The NEIDs community is looking for Heroes in Congress and across the political spectrum, so together we can address the disenfranchisement of so many Americans who have become INVISIBLE and VOICELESS.

The dismal federal governmental research funding for these illnesses ($2 per patient based on total annual estimated combined 2011 National Institutes of Health (NIH) & Department of Defense Research (DOD) $40 MM) directly contribute to the financial, physical and emotional hardships experienced by Americans stricken with NEIDS and destroying their quality of life.

It is important to educate our political leaders of our plight in states across our country. Because of the physical and financial hardships the majority of sick Americans are unable to visit congressional offices in Washington DC. They are also too ill to visit their own states political representatives. Part of our strategy will be to use current technology and take our voice to our state and federal political leadership. We will make our plight visible and effectively influence change that will restore quality of life for our community of suffering.
