I got my results back and found nitrotyrosine on methylation panel.

I have tried to google the significance of nitrotyrosine
that is tested on the methylation panel from health
diagnostics and cant find much.

mine is 15.7 (ref range 1.1-6.8) so it is way off the charts

I found that it probably a result of peroxynitrate which is
a free radical from nitric oxide and you can take gamma
tocopherol to supress it, but ...

what does that have to do with methylation ??

Anybody weigh in on this ?

thanks !

4 years later and I understand alot more about this. Has anyone had their nitrotyrosine levels tested that they can share?
