Pffff if i read this it is so hard... Are you guys not starving? And every day the same! Poehhhh... Is it nog that when you ewt one thing you become allergic to that product? I got muc allergies ( leaky gut), so you see that what i eat the most i build up a allergie so i have to switch most of the time...

For me its difficult because of the fructose... Cant eat any fruit or honey or something! Then is milk en boiled egg also no high sulfur/ protein/ ammonia ?! And nuts also right? It looks for me when i eat nuts i gotthe most pain in back and hands en feets..

And is carrot the only thing to eat as raw vegetables?

Hi @kel88 The GAPS diet begins with cooking meat in water. That is, rather than frying or roasting. I still do this. I cook a beef roast and some bones in a pressure cooker. I then divide this into meal-size pieces and freeze them. Because of my histamine issues, I transfer what I'll eat in the next meal from freezer to frig. When I don't need to cook meat, I make bone broth in my pressure cooker. I started out with a slow cooker, as GAPS recommends, but that was very inconvenient. I followed the advice of a GAPS blogger to use a pressure cooker, takes me 30" for bone broth, and 45" for cooking meat. I cook 3 liters each time, which lasts 3 days. So I cook every 3 days. I only feed myself, husband does his own.

My body prefers beef. I think it might have to do with the histamine content. If I have no other issues going on, I'll rotate chicken, lamb, and pork, but generally body does not these others more than once/week. And when I'm in any sort of overload or detox phase, only beef. I've had no issues with becoming sensitive to my foods during these 3 years. Fish is out for me for now, as it's very difficult to get fish without histamines. Seems like you have to be ready with the fire when someone catches the fish. It needs to be gutted immediately. If I had access to it, I'd eat rabbit or game or turkey.

I'm only eating carrots because green vegetables block folate for me. I'll be trying cucumber again soon. Lot's of veggies are high sulfur, but if you don't have histamine or folate problems, there are vegetables for you. I was eating honey until recently, when I finally concluded that I have Candida. so no sweets for me.:balloons:
