What's the Dosage for Valtrex?

After a 2 week experiment with Famvir I had to stop it because I was in too much pain from the muscle spasms and knots.

I'm back on 1200 mgs Acyclovir, which always makes me feel better, until I talk to my doc December 3 about Valtrex.

What is the recommended dosage for that?

It varies. The most common dosage I've heard used for ME/CFS is 4000 mg daily, which your doctor will probably consider very high, especially for long-term use.
