I have about $500 put aside towards getting well aside from my budget for supplements and medication. I did 23 &me because I had one incredible day of energy but also more pain, after taking methyl b12. Haven’t had that experience again. I don’t have mthfr. I have very few mutations, mtrr, mtr, a few others but only Bhmt was red. Sorry, brain dead today. Did doctors data, not bad. Low zinc, copper, creatinine. I had some hair color done a year ago, health food store bought but could mess up my results. It showed high uranium. Huh? And just had my annual...nothing abnormal but some tweaking of hormones. I’m glad but confused. It’s been 7 years since I got sick. I’m much better but still can’t work. I have the classic symptoms, fatigue, pain, sleeping issues, plus hypothyroidism and gastroparesis. I had to close my business a month after the flu. Now I’m not sure what to do. Anyone have a suggestion.

If you went to an ME/CFS specialist doctor, the main thing they would test you for would be the viruses linked to ME/CFS, namely CVB, echovirus, EBV, HHV-6 and CMV, as well as bacterial infections. Then if you have an active infection with any of these, they would normally treat using antivirals or immunomodulators.
