Well written Washington Post article on personal experience with Lyme & Lyme doctors

I thought the author did a good job of presenting the dilemmas posed by the current situation with Lyme treating doctors. And and excellent description of her personal experience with the illness.

Hah, I like the phrase she uses to encompass Lyme and/or co-infections: "tick-sick"

But she makes a good point, regarding the uselessness of adhering to rather conservative IDSA standards, and the opposite extreme of following a rigid and harsher protocol which is too much for some people.

Though I think the one major mistake she made was working full time when she was too ill for it. Medical leave is for sick people, and they should at least attempt to make use of it
