Tianeptine - Serotonin reuptake enhancer

I was reading on here that quite often people report a bad reaction to SSRIs used to combat depression or anxiety that have CFS.

So just curious whether any one had tried the opposite:

Also apparently elevates mood.

From what I have heard it reduces cortisol, leading to increased fatigue.

It's funny how there are drugs at opposite ends of the scale to achieve the same purpose "improved mood".

Once when relatively well I spoke woman at a bbq that turned out to be a psychiatrist. She did say that its the effect serotonin regulation has on other neurotransmitters, the sert transporter and the expression of its receptors that seems to cause its effects in depression and other mental disorders.

She was very interested in POTS and related conditions and she was convinced quite quickly that it related to serotonin. Not sure how or why but she came up with a theory after her third glass of wine on serotonin receptor disregulation.
