One thing this does is add to the growing weight of evidence for a key role for infectious agents in the development of cancers. It's nice we're now getting towards the causes of cancer, which hasn't been a major focus of cancer research thus far, for economic and political reasons.

I just hope that all people, especially young people, truly realize the consequences of these sexaully transmitted viruses and the devastation that the cancers will cause. I'm not making light of the other STD's by any means as they can be just as devastating.
