The Best way to reverse activated Microglia

Hello,

In cases of CFS or other neuroinflammatory problems activated microglia are usually indicated, these are often chronically activated (m1) microglia that are primed

I saw an old thread that mentioned possible ways to reverse m1 (inflammatory) microglia to either m2(anti-inflammatory) or m0(resting) here: https://forums.phoenixrising.me/thr...-treatment-using-microglial-inhibitors.34164/

Another one I was looking into that is not mentioned in the above thread is Rapamycin.

Has anyone tried any of these and found them to be helpful?

just to add to it:
he shows multiple lists around the 4m30s mark
Yes I recently came across his youtube channel, he covers a lot of good stuff
I think LDN might be the most common thing (other than otc supplements) I see mentioned that people have tried here and on other places.

Quercetin and PEA are helpful I think for cognitive functioning, so may be having an effect here.
I recently read a paper on a combination of PEA + Lutoelin successfully modulating activated microglial markers, but they use a microencapsulated form as it seems regular form PEA (most commonly sold in this form) doesnt get absorbed very well. I might try it out

i am on LDN myself (0.25mg) and it helps a little but the side-effects keep me from titrating up. THC & CBD drops help me sleep a little better.

The lowest form I can get from a pharmacy is 1.5mg so am considering that, In a paper written by Jarred he mentioned 1.5-4.5mg per day to be the sweet spot for this function. It seems to give a lot of people insomnia though so I think dosing first thing in the morning is best

if you can get the regular 50mg and do your own solution i'd recommend that. that way you are free to dose however you need without splitting pills and overpaying for ready made capsules.
