Severe consitpation, making ME worse?

i was wondering if anyone has or had very severe constipation and if it made your ME worse? Mine is constant (can go a month without going to the toilet despite medication) and do wonder if it makes other symptoms worse. I know it was pressing on my organs in the past (showed up as doing so on scans) so caused things like shortness of breath but I've been wondering recently if it contributes to other symptoms or if it's one of those things you just adjust to and get on with (like pain)

Constipation seems to be a normal part of ME but a month is far to long.

Excess production of Nitric Oxide (NO) has been found in some folks with ME/ CFS.

This can happen with infections. NO has beneficial antimicrobial properties, but it can slow smooth muscle contractions, causing slow transit constipation.

I feel for you, having had this issue. I believe this is the main cause for myself, maybe others.

a million +1 thing can cause constipation. named by the sort of diagnose done.

nerves paralysis, high serotonine, low serotonine, missing microbes, wrong microbes, helminths ... blah blah blah

of course its bad as toxins cumulate in the blood, tissue...

by 30something a colleague told me he had two bowel movements a day.
i thought he is completely sick.
