Respite care needed

Hi lovely people,
I'm posting on behalf of a friend of mine who has severe ME and is bedbound (I have LC myself but at a moderate level). They are in need of some respite care in the London area as both they and their family (who are their carers) are badly in need of a break. Does anyone know of anywhere, like care homes, private hospitals etc who might offer around a week's planned stay? If you don't, can anyone suggest anywhere else I could try and ask?

It's kind of you to offer to help your friends. I can only suggest the Bateman Home in London...surely they'll have a list of places that offer respite care. It's a well known and respected organization....I hope you'll be in good hands. Yours, Lenora
