Resistant Blood Pressure

I have high blood pressure and it does not respond to medicines. In the morning the reading is 120/80. But during work it goes it 150/95-100 heart beat is 60-65 per minute. When blood pressure is high I can feel it (my hands and feet become cold). There are days when blood pressure is normal without any medicine.

I have tried many medicines in different combinations like

clonidine 0.75mg reduce blood pressure but it induce sleepiness.

captopril 50mg + Propranolol 40mg twice have no effect
amlodipine 10mg or nifedipine 30mg have no effect
losartan have no effect
rosuvastatin 5mg have no effect

These supplements help

B1 in high dose 750mg - 1200mg sometimes help
selenium + Iodine
Digestive enzymes help to reduce blood pressure. But i have to take double dosage.

Is there any thing which i can do for blood pressure?

please read in one of the many thiamin treatment protocols and also refeeding threads.
i highly suspect yours is treatable with thiamin (as you already noticed). and other nutrtients.

notice that thiamin is strongly dependent on potassium and phosphor.
so always take b1 with potassium (like coconut water or bananas or potatoes or supplements).

also you need all vitamins and minerals, get a LOW dose multimineral and multivitamin. which is roughly 100-300% RDA.
you also need vitamin D! this is important. at least 1000ie to 4000ie a day (or as much as you can tolerate)

and i recommend eating egg yolks (or whole eggs with runny yolk) and liver or liver saussage.
for phosphatidylcholin and methylgroups and fats required for healing.

Thanks for reply.

In january I was in very bad condition, I started using 2 brands of digestive enzymes simultaneously . It provided some releif . After two or three weeks I accidentally started taking B1 400-700mg at evening and felt much specially the blood pressure. it was dropped to 115/80. After few weeks I started selenium and iodine with very low dose it improved my motivation . But then i stopped taking digestive enzymes . Now facing issues again. If i stop taking digestive enzymes i feel continuous pain in my lower left abdomen side along with bloating.

Regards

take Allicin either as allimax or chew on RAW garlic , keep it long in your mouth and swallow. you can have multiple cloves a day.
allicin cleans up your guts of any bacteria and fungi there shouldnt be it, so byebye SIBO. its like antibioticum but leaves most of the good flora there.

i have also in the lower left abdoman area pain sometimes, directly after food. often after food with white sauces.
my problem was a fructose malabsorption. means i tolerate fructose not well. but this can be any food intolerance. your digestive enzymes might have improved the tolerance for fructose or whatever your problem might be.

you should continue the b1, but as i said with the rest of the stuff.
b1 alone can be the reason for digestive issues, sibo, bloating etc.

Could you please explain "phosphatidylcholin and methylgroups and fats " in more details. What are the sources?
I tried to take fat (grass feed butter) but it worsened the condition. I can not digest smallest amount of fat. Second I have observed that wheat and milk also cause bloating + intestinal pain.

Regards!

try raw uncooked egg yolk - no egg white. its probably the easiest digestable.

if u have a fat digestion problem you need to work on the gallbladder and maybe pankreas. but b1 and cholin target this.
egg yolk is rich in cholin.

please look up properties of cholin.
dr. berg and dr. ekberg on youtube talk about this a lot.

also lookup pankreas insufficiency and enzymes. lipase etc. you might need this temporary.

supplements which support fat digestion and metabolism in body are also any form of L-carnitine. and vitamin B2.

I'm not surprised. Fats aren't going to be the best to take in anyway if you have have high blood pressure. Your heart is already having to work hard to pump up the thickened blood from the liver that is trying its best to filter all the sludge. Added fat will not help.

Hi.....Upfront, you should know that I'm 76 years of age. I have had a heart attack and numerous stents.

I would like to add this however: Blood pressure is an amazingly hard thing to get under control. I've tried everything over the years and I'm now on 3 meds., which seem to be working. Still, it can get out of control at anytime. I still take my vitamins, etc.

Is your cholesterol also high? Some of these problems are familial and that makes them especially difficult. I could graze on grass all day long and I'd still have high cholesterol. My doctors don't know what to do with me, and I follow them. I eat well and that's all I can do. Fats, apart from those found in the Mediterranean diet, aren't recommended. You'll go a little crazy reading the "latest research suggests" etc. Just do your best and be thankful for stents, not that I recommend going that way.

@Tammy's right....I would give that butter a miss although I've also read where you should eat butter instead of margarine. However, the fact is that it should be in extremely limited amounts....not every day, for example.

In some ways BP and cholesterol are the least of my worries. To be honest, I dread going to any doctor these days. There is always something wrong. I wish you well. Yours, Lenora

If you want to discuss it with an expert, go see a kidney doctor. They are the BP experts.

A female relative was very resistant to multiple treatments for high BP. It completely turned around when the GP finally sent her to a Nephrologist who started her on Diltiazem and Spironolactone, and stopped all the other BP treatments.

Thanks for reply.

I have observed that high blood pressure in my case is related to digestion issue. I have chronic inflammation /infection in lower left abdomen which becomes worse with wheat and diary products. There is a thick white coating on my tongue.

Best Regards.

Postprandial increase in BP is a novel risk marker for arteriosclerosis in some cases. Lower left abdominal pain can sometimes be due to having chronic mesenteric ischemia so might be worth getting your bowel arteries checked out with a mesenteric doppler ultrasound.

Hi, Thanks for reply.
I am using Milk thistle and now the blood pressure is under control without any BP medicine. Blood pressure readings are 120/85. Is there any other supplement should I take along with milk thistle.
