Potassium test after starting fludrocortisone (florinef)?

If you take fludrocortisone (florinef), did you check your potassium levels after starting it?

If so, how long after starting did you test your potassium levels? thank you!

Yeah like 3 months in, and then once every 6-12 months since then. It's always been fine.

I add some 'low sodium salt' to my regular salt which I have with water each day. Low sodium salt is roughly 50% regular sodium salt and 50% potassium salt, so it's a really cheap way of getting extra potassium. No idea if it makes a difference to my levels!

I take low dose floricot , still feel like it washes away my potassium. I generally start feeling weakness in muscles , tired . Then after taking coconut water , I start feeling much better.
I had sometimes tested as borderline or low potassium. Now I don't bother to get tested unless doing other blood tests.

Thank you for your input, that's helpful to know!
