Please donate to the American ME and CFS Society's (AMMES) spring fundraiser for severely ill patients who cannot pay their bills. Read Cort Johnson's blog about AMMES here:

"Of the roughly one million people with ME/CFS in the U.S. fully one quarter are severely ill. Many patients in this vulnerable population cannot meet their financial needs. The burden of financial hardship is one that places additional strain on patients who are already struggling with an overwhelming disease. The AMMES financial crisis fund provides badly needed financial relief to severely ill and disabled patients. This one-of-a-kind service pays for rent, food, medical care, clothing, utilities, and other basic necessities. To date we have given over $40,000 to patients in dire straits. To continue this vital work, we need donations. Please help us in our mission to provide material support to patients in need."
