Negative: <100
Indeterminate: 100 - 320
Positive: >320

Should this be something to focus on, or does everyone have positive Igg abs for M pnemoniae if they were infected at some point in their life?

I'm getting tested next week but won't be talking to my NP about it until December.

I had heard from dr nicolson that if you test positive for the M pneumonia most labs run while is fermentens then most likely you also have M pneumonia incognito

Or the other way around.

IgM is low. I see some suggest you need PCR testing for accuracy with mycoplasma though.

I've had high M. pneumoniae titers, took antibiotics twice, got the titers down, but I didn't feel any better.

I've been taking roxithromycin for at least a year since I have tested positive a few times. I cant remember if IgG or IgM but I think we are weird and things aren't so cut and dried. I think you would have to stay on it a while. Dr. Nicolson used cycles of ABX for a while to get rid of mycoplasma. He'd have patients stop to treat candida, then go back on it.

There was a special test/lab that Nicolson used to use. It might be on his site www.immed.org if you are really interested.
