i never understood people. why not mimick exercise with exercise? whats the point of a pill... whats even the point of living if you are not living.

but if it had the same effects as exercising, i would imagine it has the same crash potential than exercising.

i tried those electrostimulation devices you wrap around your legs to activate the muscles. they do those with people who cannot move properly anymore to stimulate muscles to growth or at least not loosing mass.
i had the same problems as if i had done that movement myself.

I believe the article said it was not 100%. I too am skeptical that the benefits they are alluding to are A. As exceptional as they allude to, and B. What types of side effects are there?

Did you ever try that stimulator when you were past the point of "I'm out of energy"? I think that's an interesting test of the "limited ATP" hypothesis for that symptom.
i am not doing that test!
do you know how atp regeneration works? it cycles between ATP and ADP , this works pretty fast. but if you push over the body needs to kick off the 2nd phosphate group from ADP where it gets to AMP , this happens if you overexercise or push over the limits to exhaustion.
if this happens, the body needs to regenerate ATP from the ground up via de novo synthesis, which takes approx 48 hours in healthy people.

and us sick folx might be fucked up here, so the denovo will never get back to normal. i can only warn against any cfs sufferer from trying to do anything when the body is already out of energy.

I was just asking if you had done it. The point is that we don't yet know whether ME's "feeling out of energy" is actually an ATP issue. We can't do animal testing of this since we have no marker to prove that an animal has ME.

Now I'm picturing psychologists writing ME questionnaires for mice.

i did try the peptide MoTs-C wich is called exercise in a bottle in the peptide community.
it caused time-delayed worsening, with other words: PEM.

so even exercise in a bottle causes PEM for me.

User RainyCloud from the chronic lyme forum experienced the same problem
