I was just curious for those of you who are on the moderate end of the spectrum

Aside from pacing,

How would you handle hauling an RV and truck and living on the road if you had mold/outdoor toxin hypersensitivity.

Still looking at root causes as I have had tests that revealed gut dysbioses, reactivated ebv,low nk cell activity and feel more inflammation not just by overactivity but also aggressive resting in a building with mold

I find that aggressive resting in buildings leads to more pem and inflammation

Where as aggressive resting in a quiet location with good air doesn't do this

Thank you

🙏

i also had a similiar thought.

but regarding mold, isnt a RV build mainly out of plastic? is plastic a good thing in regards of mold?
also a new one might have a lot of fumes from new material, suggesting a old RV might be better. but an old one could already suffer mold buildup.
i know nothing about RV life and if this is actually a problem. just guessing here.

there are mold test kits, like little dishes. maybe before you buy anything do testdrive it for a few days or weeks and make a mold test.

what scares me about RV life. a RV needs maintenance from time to time, and if it breaks down on the road the troubles are bigger than with a normal car. so the question is, are you healthy enough to cope with those accidents?

there is something different but simliar to a RV. ever heard of tiny houses?
those are usually build on a trailer (is this the correct word? i mean a platform on wheels you drag behind a car).
but they are build with natural materials like wood around a wood or steel frame. so basically the tiny house can breath and may have better environmental properties.
though a tiny house can be moved , its not meant to do it frequently, if you move it like once every 1-2 years it might be fine, but doing road trips is impossible.
also prices are insane, you can buy one for less than 20.000 - 50.000 and it is quite luxurary.

this is a tinyer one, just in the middle of the woods:

a tiny house is good when you get a property where you can place it, and also plan to stay for a longer time. if you get lucky you can put this into the deepest woods if there is any power / water access.
or on a cliffside if the owner of the land allows it.
power access must not be necessary, solar panels on the roof and a battery actually can handle power situations quite good. some even have water collectors and water recycling on the house, not even needing access to public water.

(this is a bigger one for 200.000 though:
)

sadly a tiny house isnt working for me. i am allergic to a lot of woods. i even had to get rid of my guitar. so having a wooden house just begs for problems in my case.

I went a tiny bit further with a tinyhouse. Though more as preparation to comming CBDCs, and therefore future power over one's living choices.

In Germany there is quite a hype at the moment, with building bicycle-campers - YouTube shows many self-build versions - with the advantage reaching prestine natural spots, where RVs usually are not allowed. Usually only 2x0,8m, some build huge cargo-trailers carrying with electric assitance upto 500kgs.

Though wood would still be 5 times cheaper to build, its also about double heavier, and not practical with cycle-cargo trailors. Therefore I choose aluminium tubes and XPS and poor-man-fiberglass (PMF) as main materials. For a better living climate I'll use an addtional sheepwool isulation layer inside. Sheepwool has the highest humitity-regulating abilility, and is even used against indoor-chemicals remediation.as

At the moment I've spent about 6000,- on building material, and just crossed the 600kg mark. Gonna be costing in total ten thousand, I guess, with self-build windows, doors, and warmth-exchange ventilation. A balkony solar station, tent and kerosin stove I already had.

I know, crazy idea. Especially with my limited manual working capacity of only 4 hous at most, and working parttime besides.

4x4m, even if it turns out in the end too complicated to put on cycle-wheels, I will be able to reassemble and carry with cargo-bikes within a few trips. Or if decided to resettle even further, by transporting it with any car-trailer anywhere.

germans will create a regulation to fuck this up. they always do like they did with the tiny houses.

send some pictures when ready.

There are some tiny home villages in some places of the USA. Another option might be a container home though I think there can still be chemicals to contend with and I thought they were all metal until I saw a video by a man who purchased one who had to tear out the wood floor so maybe not.
