I read on several (German) MCAS websites warnings that ppl. with MCAS should not use any immune stimulation or boosting drugs or herbs. doings so will worsen the illness over the time, they say MCAS sufferers should prefer immuno suppressive stuff. How should that be get be paired with CFS?

In case off Fibromyalgia it may work,
because they are 2 different FM forms: Ideopathic Fibromyalgia and secondary FMS (aka. "Fibromyalgia-Syndrom" *)
(*triggered by MCAS or any other circumstandings, if you treat MCAS = FMS will get better
- but, you cant adress with MCAS treatments each & every immunological CFS related issues)

Depends on how the drug in question stimulates the immune system. If MCAS is your only immune condition and it isnt autoimmune in nature, then drugs that stimulate Th1 aspect of your immune system is good. As stimulating Th1 often has the opposite effect on Th2, which is usually the part of the immune system that is overactive in MCAS.

Look up selfhacked.com, they talk a lot about Th1/Th2.

I got the same warning in the meantime at the University Hospital where I am currently let rule out other disesaeses as well to stay away from with MCAS from any immunomodulation therapies
The problem is still the University isn´t specialised on CFS/ME and I dont see how how treating CFS should go together + pair with their MCAS advices.
