FYI, The Drudge Report currently links to a (sympathetic) CBS article on chronic Lyme.

Regardless of political views, The Drudge Report gets a lot of traffic. It linked several times to the Pelletier case during that nightmare. I believe it also recently linked to an article which discussed POTS (and ME/CFS).

At http://www.drudgereport.com/, the link is "Doctor Warns Chronic Lyme Disease 'Real Public Health Threat'..."

If you don't want to give traffic to The Drudge Report, the direct CBS link is: http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2014/07/07/health/

The Drudge Report also accepts "tips". I have no idea how much *if any* consideration The Drudge Report actually gives to reader input, but to my understanding, NIH has big media plans for its P2P ME/CFS "findings". The Drudge Report may ignore NIH comments on ME/CFS completely or it may not.

If not, I hope the site links to stories which are sympathetic to the ME/CFS community - instead of those which parrot the standard falsehoods. If motivated, please direct the site to stories which aid the ME/CFS community.

@Ren

Thanks for the article as well as the second link. I would rather rely on the CBS site and while it's is certainly not without biases, for me Drudge is not a credible source of information.

"...for me Drudge is not a credible source of information."

The Drudge Report is a single webpage with basically three columns of *headlines-only links* to sources such as ABC, BBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, the Associated Press, NY Times, Reuters, Infowars, Huffington Post, E!, Fox, Breitbart, Mother Jones, CNN, Buzzfeed, Rolling Stone, Salon, the Daily Mail, etc., etc., etc., anything and everything. There's a list on the site, though I doubt it's exhaustive.

It's not my intent to celebrate or attack The Drudge Report.

While he may cite these media outlets, it's his spin on the news, I don't like. But that's my opinion. Others may think otherwise but to each his/her own.

That being said, this does not mean the article isn't credible.

Does he still have a TV and radio broadcast or have they been discontinued?

Another Lyme (borrelia /neuroborreliosis) link:

At www.drudge.com, see: "Rare Strain of Lyme Disease Causes Anxiety in Children..."
[rare strain = borrelia miyamoto]

Or direct NBC link: http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Lyme-Disease-Increase-Long-Island-269142921.html
