Hi Boost,
I hope you will read my comments with an open-mind.
When we begin to look for an open minded doctor, we can leave ourself open for an open and empty pocket, there are many open-minded doctors who love the rattle of the “dollar” sign continuously rolling over, like the rollers of a poker machine that keeps on paying out continual jackpots; and I say that “without prejudice” to those open minded doctors who have 100% compassion, and are dedicated to their practice and study.
The remainder lacks any compassion, and as soon as you try to lead them into an area of the unknown, or taboo areas, or you may shake their tree, they will drop you like a ton of bricks, and throw you to the wolves. You usually end up with a box full of supplements that probably cost you $400 or more and then every month another $200, and you end up with colourful urine and no more healthier than you were when you started.
Some doctors who may lean slightly toward natural therapies, do bulk bill, and you won’t have to cough up big dollars. They keep within the realms of the AMA, and pharmaceuticals so they won’t get slapped on their wrist or be made an example of. I have seen a few competent doctors, who primarily lean toward natural therapies, end up being tarred and feathered, and closed down by TPTB.
I knew a couple of such doctors, who preferred natural therapies and they were hounded, and hounded, but they kept to their principles and beliefs, and sadly they were destroyed by TPTB.

There are so many beliefs in what causes CFS/ME, including FMS, and we pop so many pills that we rattle, but we are only trying to overcome the symptoms, and not eliminate the cause. The medical fraternity states that the cause is unknown, and many believe it to be some environmental factor, which is correct. But, the one causation factor is sitting there in the background and as obvious as a pimple on an elephant, but sadly is being completely ignored. If you have been suffering CFS/ME as long as I have (since 1969), then you will be popping pills for the rest of your life, and all to no avail.
Many believe it’s a neurological, biological, genetic, infectious and psychological illness, but the etiology isn’t really understood, because of these multiple beliefs, and the lack of any diagnostic laboratory test or biomarker for CFS/ME.
When our symptoms become worse we may then be diagnosed FMS, or MCS, or GWS or even Lyme’s Disease; and the most crippling of all---MS.
I have suffered and researched CFS/ME since 1969. Between 1984 and 1989 I discovered that electromagnetic radiation and fields from power lines, house wiring, and electronic and electrical equipments and devices were the known factor in many studies conducted by scientists on well-known and unusual illnesses that were known in the 1970s. But, all that information has seem to have disappeared, and can no longer found in archives.
In 1989, I stopped using our electric blanket, removed the electric clock/radio from the bedside, replaced the fluorescent tubes in the bed-head with standard light globes, and moved the bed-head at least a foot from the wall were the house wiring was running to the power points behind the bed-head. My symptoms reduced considerably.
In 1997, we moved away from our high-density power lines, to an island country environment, and within no time, all my symptoms disappeared. In 2000, we moved back to our home area, and we began a caravan tour around Australia. My symptoms began to return over the next few weeks, but the symptoms were strange and slightly different. I discovered when my wife turned “ON” her newly purchased mobile phone that I felt a strange sensation all over my body. And as my wife left the phone turned “ON”, 24/7, my symptoms became worse. We developed some ground rules, which worked very well. We travelled around Australia for 2 ½ years and in different caravan parks I suffered worse than other caravan parks, due to the availability of mobile phone towers, and the other caravaners use of mobile phones. Since 2005, wireless technology began to expand, and my symptoms became worse, and no natural therapy would help. But, there is always a “but’, I did notice that when I missed out taking my supplements for a few days, I did feel lousy, therefore, the supplements were helping me to keep on an even keel.
On the 20th August 2010, the National CFIDS Foundation (NCF) announced a link between Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Low Level Radiation Exposure. Their research found a relationship between ciguatera poisoning, STAT-1 and myelodysplasia, as well as leukemia. They said that early evidence also suggested that some type of catalyst was potentially involved in this disease process, because of some very unique characteristics they identified during the course of their research, and what emerged from their research was the potentiality of low level radiation to act as the catalyst to evoke a specific response that fit the profile for their CFS/ME patients. From their research and study they believe that their findings were very important that low-level radiation not only adversely impacts STAT-1, but it has also been found to cause myelodysplasia as well as myeloid leukemia.
Why this hasn’t been passed onto the public is beyond any comprehension.
Boost, I am saying this, because the public needs to: be aware of the health risks and know of the harmful effects of EMR and EMF of the wireless technology of today. The airways are being flooded with harmful “electrosmog”, and I have much knowledge and understanding of electronics as I worked in the military communications field, and know the dangers of non-ionised radiation, and now know after all those years that I worked in an unhealthy environment that caused my CFS/ME. I retired from the military in 1980, and over time I discovered the dangers of the EMF emanating from our electric blanket, electric clock/radio, and fluorescent lights.
When I realized those electric appliances and devices were a health risk, moved away from the environment that was blasting me with EMF from the high-power power lines, and during the time from 1997-2000 when I lived in an EMR and EMF free area, and was healed. I realized then that EMR and EMF was a problem to me and was causing my CFS/ME. As soon as I returned back to our home environment in 2000, my symptoms began to return, and by 2007 I was suffering extreme CFS/ME, which my GP diagnosed as FMS. It was then that I realized I was suffering from some form of radiation sickness, and that was when I established that my symptoms of CFS/ME and FMS was no different to the symptoms of electro hypersensitivity (EHS).
Before you put yourself back onto the merry-go-round, consider what I have said, take account of it all, and make sure that your home is EMR and EMF free, such as: no DECT (cordless) phone; no wireless computer setup of wireless modem/router/mouse; no Wi Fi; and all mobile phones turned “OFF”, including Wi Fi baby monitors. The DECT phone and baby monitors are the most dangerous device every designed.
I’m just surviving, and there is no natural remedy that is going to give me a quick-fix, as this “electrosmog” has replaced the dangers of asbestos and passive cigarette smoking that were for fifty years declared as being harmless and safe, and is now banned in our State.
It has been shown by many medical researchers that wireless radiation and exposure does have an effect on: the blood brain barrier; our cells causing us to go into fight or flight response; our immune system; the health of people in the public and work place; and the health of children in schools with Wi Fi. The increase of sick people (children and adults) since the introduction of wireless technology in the home, schools, public place and work place must not be ignored.
The World Health Organization classified CFS/ME as a central nervous system disorder, and also classified wireless technology as “2B” carcinogenic. If that is so, then wireless technology can affect the central nervous system.
Something to think about Boost, but as I find it, commonsense is thrown out of the window, and doctors, medical science, and government officials ignore the common facts and evidence by fobbing it that they meet all the laid down safety regulations.
I live south of Brisbane.
