Looking for a doctor in Dublin, Ireland?

Hey everyone. Anyone know a good doctor in Dublin, Ireland? Doesn't necessarily have to be a ME/ CFS specialist, not sure there are any here. Looking for someone who will order tests because I just want to rule some.other conditions out, and someone who is understanding would be perfect!

I've been mostly self-managing but that's not working. I had a lovely doctor who didn't know anything but that was fine. He's left the practice and I went to his colleagues today, who told me it's all in my head... 🙄

In relation to finding a doctor to help with testing in Ireland, it depends on what you want to get done and what action you want to take once these tests results are in. If they are tests that you need somebody just to draw blood for and you can work on the results yourself I would think a bog standard GP wouldn't have too much objection to that. However if you are looking for somebody to test and treat on the basis of those tests that could be a bigger task to find.
I know of a guy in South Dublin who I have been to in the past, Id be loath to recommend him because hes a bit of a charlatan dabbling in "fatigue states", but if you knew what you wanted to get done before going to him might be worth exploring.
I think the Irish ME Trust used to have a database of ME sympathetic doctors, might be worth exploring too.

Thanks, I could t find anything on their website but joined the Facebook group. I would like someone who would help treat, but just conscious that that might not really be possible, so would take someone who was just grand about it

Hi I would recommend Dr Patrick McGovern in Goatstown/Leopardstown area. He takes a very wholistic approach and I found him very good. His details should come up on a Google search. Good luck
