ive been to the pain clinic today and have been offered this for my neuropathic and muscular pain. Has anyone has this done or is there any literature/studies I can read about this approach?

I've had it done. My pain was at the top of the charts. Believe there is a risk of death with this procedure. I didn't care, I was very miserable, unable to sleep, in a depression. Good luck with your research. I'm glad I had it done, knocked my pain down 2 to 3 notches, started sleeping after this and eventually recovered from my crash!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I've been told the risks. Much like you I'm at the point where I no longer care. It's great that it really helped you. How long did the benefits last? Did you have repeated infusions?

Think i only had 1 infusion (Fall 2009)? Had trouble getting a ride. I think the benefits lasted months to a year? I was working, but was out of work for nearly 3 months during this time. I was not functional.

I took about a year off from exerting myself greatly, so that might have helped the effects to last.

I was a bicycle rider since my early teens, so didn't do that the following year, to allow myself to "heal". I was back to exercising the following year. Didn't make me feel great like it used to, no "runners high", actually made me feel worse. But I pack on the weight easily if I do not stay somewhat active.

Started taking LDN and doing lots of things differently. after suffering greatly for 6 years, was tired of changing one thing at a time and not getting better!
