This is not what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear I think... Yeah I think it may be fruitless to use mcas meds to deal wtih mold while living in it

If you are having MCAS symptoms (especially anaphylaxis or severe reactions) then I don't think the MCAS are fruitless at all. If you are living with toxic mold, and this is the cause of the symptoms, then the meds are just a stop-gap measure, but if they reduce the reactions or provide relief, then they are definitely worth taking. I started taking MCAS meds while still living with mold (even though it was not the set of meds that my future MCAS specialist later put me on) but it was better and safer than taking nothing.
