very good article.
It's about migraine headache but Keto Diet also relieves my Tension Headache (it takes onky 1 or two day of full keto diet to relieve it), so I guess the headache pathologies share common pathways.

Some of the hypothesis in headache causes are altered local neurovascular autonomic regulation or altered energy metabolism.

I suppose altered blood flow to some part of the brain also mean less O2 and less glucose to these area, so there is probably a link between the brain blood flow and the energy produced in the brain.

Brain vascular inflammation + associated vascular insulin resistance is another possible pathway that may explain impaired vasodilation.

The improved ATP production in the brain (both in nervous cell and endothelial cells) may benefit to ions channels like the Na/K ATPase pump that we already hypothesis a dysfunction in ME/CFS

I would love if the keto diet kept me from getting headaches... but sadly it does not. Obviously though it works for some people and that is good to hear! I suppose it completely depends upon exactly what is causing headaches and migraines in each individual, as it is with everything.

When you are following keto, do you never get headaches, or do you only hit a keto diet for a few days to get rid of headaches?

unfortunately, I found it really difficult to keep this diet, and I always relapse with some carbohydrate or some kind of sugar.
