Injured my back again and Cold Hands and Feet came back?

Just tonight I was hyperfocused in front of the computer reading this forum, when suddenly I slipped and hurt my spine slightly (i was not sitting properly). Now I am lying in bed and my hands and feet are unusually cold.

What exactly happened like how does spine problem cause thyroid symptoms? Any suggestions on what to take in case supplementing with Iodine doesn't work?
