Too high cortisol is a problem as is too low cortisol. Both cause all sorts of unwelcome problems.
Unfortunately, most people with ME/CFS seem to have either all out low cortisol or swinging high/low cortisol patterns which are a result of an inverted circadian rhythm. All of these patterns are brain problems as much as they are endocrine problems.
I would hate for anyone hearing this abbreviated clip to think that all aging people should lower their cortisol levels automatically because that could have devastating impact. Cortisol always needs to be properly tested prior to interventions.
