Head pain

Hi All
I would like some advice my only severe symptoms
Are severe head pain I get daily and have had for last
4 years
The pain is fine when I wake up then it starts mid day and lasts till evening that goes it the worst pain
Sides top middle of head
I’ve tried over counter meds, beta blockers, Gabapentin
Nothing works
Any advice would be great
Only freezing cold baths makes the pain bearable
I get slight pain areas around my face also

It sounds like it could be the trigeminal nerve causing the problem. My partner has MS and he has Trigeminal Neuralgia.

He’s also tried Gabapentin but it didn’t help. He’s now on Carbamezapine which is helping.

CBD oil seems to help too

I too use cold packs, often, for that.

One might try butterbur, it helped me for a while, is sold called ...oh I cannot remember the brand, but will look it up.

I don't know if trigeminal neuralgia, as mentioned and very good possibilitiy that is is or might be...
or perhaps some type of migraine.

Edit: The product I sometimes find helpful is Petadolex, sold under numerous brands, the brand i get is Enzymatic Therapy. It comes in soft gelcaps. Is over the counter (no script) Butterbur.
