Has Anybody Been Able To Access Old ProHealth Forum Posts Using The Wayback Machine or Any Other Search Tool?

I asked ChatGPT how I might be able to access old ProHealth forum posts, and got the following reply. I know this is a long shot, but has anybody here attempted to do that, and were you successful?

Here's the situation:
  • ProHealth (prohealth.com) used to have one of the largest and most respected ME/CFS forums.
  • In 2021–2022, they took the forums offline — officially because of regulatory pressures (likely FDA/FTC) over implied health claims related to supplements.
  • When they closed the forums, they did not preserve public archives — and they intentionally disabled forum links (you can't even see old posts on their current site).

How to try to access your old posts:

  1. Wayback Machine (archive.org) — You can sometimesfind saved versions of the old ProHealth forums, depending on what was crawled. Here's how:
    • Go to archive.org/web
    • Enter: https://forums.prohealth.com
    • Look for snapshots from before 2022 (ideally 2019–2021).
    • Once inside a snapshot, search for your username either by manually browsing or by using CTRL+F.
  2. Direct Search for Username:
    • You can also search Wayback Machine or Google with keywords like:
      "usernamesite:forums.prohealth.com"
      • Sometimes it will pull up direct links to your posts (if they were archived).
    • You can plug those links into the Wayback Machine to see if they have snapshots.
  3. Other backups:
    • Some users archived their own posts from ProHealth manually.
    • A few people posted downloadable archives on places like Reddit (r/cfs) or Phoenix Rising forums, but usually only partial copies.
    • You could try posting a request at Phoenix Rising ME/CFS Forums — there are a lot of old ProHealth users there who might have saved discussions involving you.
