Feels like I'm in a pressure chamber.

I'm curious if anyone else has this feeling like their body or parts of their body are being pressurized? I have been experience this pressurized feeling since November of last year. I have it to some extent in my whole body but in my upper back the feeling is extreme. It feels like it is being INTENSLEY squeezed or torqued. The pressure is tremendous. I remember years back where it felt like my wrists and ankles were being torqued and twisted to such a degree that I thought for sure my bones would snap.

It is just one of my million and one bizarre symptoms that I've had over the years.

egad.

Do you ever chat with any really good chinese herbalists? I miss being able to meet with mine.

I feel: bubbles. Maybe its not what you're experiencing. I can feel a huge bubble in my brain, like the brain is being displaced by this giant bubble. In my spine (thoracic). Neck (smaller bubble there) In my shoulder and often in other places.

In my case, we believe this may be energetic WIND. Some herbs I take can help that. I've had less of it lately.

I had one of the most excellent Doctors of oriental medicine many many moons ago. He was worth his weight in gold and I was actually getting better with his treatments but unfortunately he left the area and the one that replaced him did nothing for me. The difference between both Dr.'s was like night and day. We havn't had one in my area for quite a long time.

Oh Tammy, I hope you figure it out! I have had many symptoms, but haven't had that one.

Does it affect your ability to breathe?

I call that one Anvil on the Chest- related to air hunger.

I can at least do a call with mine, but since I can't go into the office, it's much harder.

I sent my brother to one (generally, I recommended what to look for and he is right next door to a major enclave). He came back with three supplements and none of it was Chinese Traditional Medicine. My response was: oh well, you did not find a real chinese herbalist.

@Tammy - could it be related to COVID in any way? Or did you start a new med or supplement last November? I'm sure you've probably looked at this already but felt I should mention it.

My go-to when I'm stumped and can't figure out what's going on, is a good chiropractor who does muscle testing. I've experienced 2 kinds of muscle testing - one where the chiro is just testing for structural issues, to see what needs adjusting, but there's another kind often called nutritional response testing, and with this type, I've had chiros check various organ systems and it's been surprisingly effective in helping to figure out all sorts of things. This testing also can check meds and supplements to see if you respond well to them, and help figure out dosages as well. Applied kinesiology is another term for muscle testing.

Have you ever had a neck injury, @Tammy?

A friend of mine swears by cranial sacral therapy, her daughter has connective tissue disorders, genetic birth defects, AND has had some neck injuries associated with a car accident.

Tammy, I just remembered reading that COVID can cause lesions in bones. I looked for a study and found this. It says that COVID can cause osteoclastogenesis is the process by which bone marrow precursors differentiate into osteoclasts, which are cells that break down bone. This process is complex and involves many factors, including hormones, cytokines, and inflammatory conditions.

. As for osteoblasts, hypoxia signaling seems to exhibit inactive effects on osteogenesis capacity, which was linked to angiogenesis-induced bone-forming and the intervention of canonical osteoblastic Wnt signaling [15], [16]. Therefore, SARS-CoV-2 induced hypoxaemia is most likely to mediate bone destruction and disturb bone matrix.

I am looking for a list of symptoms. I don't know if your symptom could be caused by this. I'll let you know if I find anything else.

Hi @Rufous McKinney, Hi @Tammy -- That was actually my first question as well. I've been watching a lot of videos recently on CCI, and am continually amazed at the variety and severity of symptoms it can cause. In my case, I believe I've dealt with a lot of intracranial pressure for many years, with that pressure often creating symptoms along various parts of the body.

I think in particular that vagus nerve compression of any degree might be able to cause sensations of pressure along the route of the vagus nerve. Sorry to hear how much this is affecting you Tammy. I wish I could "transport" my mHBOT chamber to you for a couple of hours and possibly help with some of your breathing difficulties.

Yeah I actually get that in the same places and primarily at the neck, tailbone, and behind my forehead. I'll feel it a bit in my knee joints but I only had a major flare of it there once. When that is going on heavily I'll almost always have the sickly symptoms like nasal drip/sore throat/digestive issues. My only known trigger for it is an extended stressful period of my life. Otherwise it just occasionally will do it's thing to a lighter degree whenever it wants. I have a feeling in my case some virus or infection (maybe both) is hiding the nerves and when those over activate so does it.
