Famvir and White Blood Cells

I have always had low white blood cells, about 3.1. I was given Valcyte about 2 years ago and did not take it because of my low white blood cell count. Does Famvir lower WBC? Thanks

I think it has the potential to do so but it does not always.

It didn't lower mine, but mine are not low either to begin with...

I think you just have to try and get regular labs.

My WBC count is always low. I have taken Famvir for over a year and it hasn't made the WBC count any worse.
