This happens to me as well but, unfortunately I have no explanation for it.

@Fuzzyhead - If I had to guess: histamine? Are you eating common allergens like wheat or dairy? Anything spicy? Maybe you could find a culprit through process of elimination?

Fluoxetine and amitriptyline can also cause flushing, per here and here.
