Eosinophil cationic protein

Hello,
I am seeing my new ME/CFS specialist on March 12 to review all of he tests & labs done and get my new shiny treatment plan. I’ve been able to access the lab results with my amateur eyes. One of the labs that I’ve never heard of was eosinophil cationic protein. I think this has something to do with measuring damage done by viruses, I’m guessing. I’m attaching the results for this, along with some EBV titers. Let me know if you’re in the know.
Thank much,
Wendy

Downstream testing for parasitic infections, e.g., babesia, is one use. There are others. I cannot say why the test was used on you.
