EMF sensitivity to fiber optics

I have very bad emf sensitivity but have been fortunate so far to only have land lines and low speed DSL internet with no wi-fi in my house.

Now I am being forced to switch to a 300 mb fiber optic internet connection with a bgw 320 modem that is always on and phone lines connected also to fiber optic wires.

Although there is no ONT and apparently the router can disable the wi-fi, I still have health concerns.

Has anyone had adverse health symptoms from fiber optic technology?

no idea, with fiber optic technology. but are cables a problem as well?

did you try some glutathion like s-acetyl-glutathione or B2 and NAC to boost glutathione production?
i have read somewhere that glutathion is necessary to treat emf sensitivity.

The fibre won't emit any EMF It's a glass or plastic line covered in more plastic, with an opaque plastic layer on top. The new modem could. If you're not satisfied with the shielding of its case, you could add a layer of foil. Maybe make some small (still blocks EMF) holes for cooling, or use metal mesh. EMF shielding is simple, and you can add 20+ layers if that makes you happy.

If I turn off wifi I'm on fine, unfortunately since I'm not in control of it of it here I can only positions myself rooms away from the router and do ok enough. My computer is wired through a long ethernet cable. The entire thing needs shielding though because I'm sensitive to CPU and screen radiation too so I have a shield on both the tower and screen. I can also only handle VGA. It's also crucial the OS this runs is lightweight so it's using as little as it needs to of the CPU at all times. So if you're still getting sick check the rest of the EMF environment too. I'll get symptoms if for example too many wires are simply plugged in at once.

i wonder if you wrap the hole computer in the shielding foil? so its only the monitor left. there could maybe a epaper display give relief.
aaah this disease just sucks!!!

It does indeed, I use a multi layered shielding fabric on the tower, works well enough. I once tried to make a metal box for it but due to my lack of background in construction that didn't work out. Lol I can handle e-paper displays better but I couldn't imagine using one on a computer.

have a look at this, epaper progressed a bit the last years:

i got a tablet and am playing games on it and watching sometimes youtube.

what shielding fabric product?

I might look into a monitor like this, maybe I can find a much cheaper one to do a test run with and see how I tolerate it unshielded.

This on my screen wired to only VGA - https://www.4ehsbyehs.com/product/led-lcd-screen-protection-film/

This is the fabric I have multilayered on the tower - https://www.4ehsbyehs.com/product/s132/

Thanks, I am not a fan of glutathione though, don't know if has helped other people but it made me worse.

Thanks for all the responses, I did eventually get the fiber optic high speed internet line installed, it was either that or leave my family with no internet at all.

My first reaction to it is not good, however.

Don't know if it is the modem or the line itself, but there is very strong EMF coming from the whole area where it was installed.

Unfortunately the modem always has to be on. We disabled the 2 wi-fi signals but it didn't help.

The modem runs on 120 volts, is this a lot? Where is the strong radiation coming from?

The only thing that has helped is powering down the whole computer, which then stops the modem and the line from giving out anything.

Any other suggestions? I don't need to shield my desktop tower, it has never been a problem. Maybe there is something I can do with the software to reduce the EMF?

Thanks for the help.

I have never tried it myself, looking it up it appears to be pretty wild in how it can swing with no reliable way to predict how you'll react to it. I doubt I ever will when something can be that volatile.

I wonder if it could be that even if you have the wifi disabled it's still sending out a signal that looks for devices wirelessly. I haven't tested that out on anything like a computer motherboard with built in wifi for example but it's something I fear happening. Do you have a EMF reader? If you get one you'll probably be able to see where it's coming from. I get a lot of relief when the wifi bands on mine are disabled. I used to have one that wasn't being used disabled but the stupid tech one day must have re-enabled it again and I don't know what the password is for the browser control thing now so I can't go in and disable it. It also depends on how far away the router is, I'm saved by the fact that it's a few rooms away and divided by thick walls. I just snake the massive ethernet cable through the hall up here to my room and into the back of my PC. Maybe you could do a distance thing if you have the space with it if all else fails and you don't have any other immediate solutions.

Yes, just for everyone's info, when it was installed the guy did some wi-fi tests and put his I-Phone on the network. I had to reset the network and get rid of that, and I've felt much better and been able to tolerate it after doing that.

Not sure how everyone out there will react to fiber optic internet, but hope this thread and my experiences helps people.

thats interesting. i also heard of some wifi smart plugs which send signals like crazy because of bad programming.

I can easily imagine Windows turning wifi and bluetooth back on "to get the latest Windows updates!" without asking permission, and nearly impossible to stop it from doing so. I still can't get Windows Update to permanently not start.
