Ear suctioning closed and popping open when i sleep on it

Hello,

My LLND, ENT, dentist are all mystified by this symptom, so I'm fishing around for clues from the community.

My ears suction closed and pop open when I sleep on them-- usually more on one side, the side I have more TMJD problems.

Accompanying this symptom is a kind of light sliver or "oil drip" down the corner of the eye of the affected side: less like an intrusion, more just a fascial thing. (And, yes, my eye doctor ruled out anything unusual in the eye).

So, I'm down to the cranial bones and meninges. 21 months of ALF treatment and tons of osteopathic adjustments have not helped, though.

Could this be low grade meningeal inflammation, I wonder?

Any thoughts or experiences?

Welcome to Phoenix Rising, @Daymoon :):tulip:

I am sorry I can't be helpful as I don't know enough about those things, and hope you can get some clues as to what's going on.

Sounds like something's stuck or blocking your Eustachian Tubes. Maybe your adenoids? I don't know.

I hope that's not cerebral spinal fluid leaking out. :nervous:

A funny twist—I’ve googled several times and never found anything that specifically describes my problem. I did again and had a moment of hope—only to find that I found this thread.
