The full conference agenda is available:

https://www.dysconf.org/agenda

Most lectures and presentations will be made available for free later in the year.

Nothing jumped out at me as of vital interest to ME/CFS patients, although perhaps Dr Grubb’s topic “Immune Biomarkers and Platelet Dysfunction in POTS” would be interesting. All the talks would be good to increase one’s understanding of autonomic dysfunction, of course.

I watched a few lectures live, but it was the middle of the night here in Australia and it's also winter, so I'm afraid I didn't follow all the sessions. The atmosphere that you catch by following the livestream did make me want to attend in person, although that's never going to happen with my illness and my disinclination to pass through airport security in the US.

Dr Amanda Miller's opening talk on blood flow to the brain was very good, and I'm sure would be relevant to many here.

Dr Brent Goodman spoke about his diagnostic process for autonomic patients. It was very impressive, although I think he tried to fit in too much to the allocated time. So many areas of the body are controlled or affected by the autonomic nervous system, and he also looks at autoimmune and many other areas as part of his work.

Dr Peter Novak talked about the soon-to-be-published results of a fairly large trial of IVIg in patients with autonomic and neuropathy problems. (Please excuse me for having forgotten the exact selection criteria – I will make up for that later). OCHOS, my condition, did get a very brief mention, but I'm not sure whether anyone with OCHOS was in the study.

Finally I watched Dr Tae Chung talk about using proteomics to look for abnormal protein expression in POTS patients. Excitingly, some of his findings overlap with findings from Dr Fedorowski's research in Sweden, done using different analysis methods.

When the lectures are published, I will come back and add links and a short summary for each one.
