Naltrexone hydrochloride is on the list above. Also Metformin.

How irritating.

My Naltrexone was manufactured in Mexico, but the chemicals probably came from Chinese factories.

My chinese herbalist always tells me: you have NO IDEA whats in any of these pills that western medicine is tossing in our direction, nor the supplements.

Hi, @kushami

Thank you so much for sharing this article and list with us!

I've had personal experience with inferior generics from India, for generic Buproprion XL, ER, SR. (It's an anti-depressant.)

When I reported this to my psychiatrist, break through depression symptoms, she was familiar with the issue.

When I had access to a small neighborhood pharmacy, we were able to specifically request a generic sourced from Northern America Only (US & Canada).

However, as first the independent pharmacies went out of business (and now brick and mortar Walgreens and Rite-Aid pulled out of my area), I'm stuck with whatever junk CVS Caremark Mail order pharmacy sends me.

As a result, I now pay out of pocket to source this particular medication directly from Canada, as I am able to request the location of manufacturer, also in Canada.

For anyone interested, I have a thread elsewhere on PR about Canadian online pharmacies.

I won't always be able to afford this high quality option, but I'm taking advantage of it while I can.

It's a sad state of affairs.

I wonder about this. My Naltrexone was "made in Mexico". But were the chemical constituents also made in Mexico? I think this could be hard to pin down.

My doctor advised me to ONLY get Pfizer 25 mgs of Lyrica. Only Pfizer makes this smaller dose. The rest are unreliable generics, perhaps. (since I can't seem to relocate this doctor, I may never see her again). The Pfizer plant is in theory, in Guadalajara.

My situation is complicated by the fact that I got the medication illegally, so I don't have a lot of choice of manufacturer, just whoever All Day Chemist gets it from.

I checked and the supply to the Australian medical system is from different manufacturers (although I'd want to check them too).

My current packet, which will last for a long time, is manufactured by a company not named on that list. Phew. Maybe I won't need the other packets.
