Hey everyone! What do you make of these white circular blotches? This is the floor of my Jeep with the carpet removed.

Not sure! Yeah, I'm finding contradicting information about mold being about to grow on metal. Some say yes, because it's a hardy life form, but then others say no because metal is an inorganic material.

Looks like fungus to me - the white stuff. Fungus can use iron for growth.

The rusty brown stuff looks like rust.

We used some borax to clean mold from underneath some carpet. It seemed to work without damaging any surface.
