Doctor wiki?

Total newbie here. This sub-forum is super important, but I wonder if some of the information might be better collected in a Wiki? Do you know if one exists?

I've already put a request in technical support regarding access to the wiki for members, for projects such as this. It's in the works.

That's great! Reading through forum discussion is helpful, but as a beginner in all this, it would be *really* helpful to have a Wiki for doctors, a Wiki for treatment approaches, etc. Right now it's a little overwhelming to know where to dive in.

That is certainly an approach that I think needs to be worked on. I think it is also one of the driving forces behind moving to XenForo. To provide better features for exactly that kind of collaboration and presentation of information. I'm sure someone more involved in the project can confirm that for me??

Hopefully the more full-featured wiki will come soon!!!

I suspect this will be a much used feature that will move a lot of obscure information from forum threads into a structured, easily accessible form.

There used to be a wiki at PR.. hardly no one ever used it thou a few of us did do some pages (i cant see them now so no idea where they have gone but it was basically just on ME/CFS stuff in Australia.. australian studies, advocacy in australia.. there may of been an aussie doc/specailist page but that didnt get far.
Looks like they will start a new one here.

There is a ME/CFS wiki at another ME/CFS forum as well.. I cant right now think of the forum name but maybe someone else will tell you.

If you're referring to the wiki that was setup on the last PR installation (vBulletin). It was lousy and not really wortth giving much attention. It was very hard to give the wiki any structure whatsoever as far as I could see.

XenCarta seems to be an improvement, but I'm guessing the admins are having trouble implementing all the things needed with this now too. Lack of access control I'm guessing?
