Hi has anybody tried Diquafoso for cell danger response?

I’m currently trying to source it from Japan for the following year reasons….

1. Anti-inflammatory effects: Diquafosol significantly decreased the expression of inflammatory cytokines like tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) induced by hyperosmotic stress in corneal epithelial cells[5].

2. Suppression of NF-κB signaling: Diquafosol blocked the hyperosmotic stress-induced activation of the NF-κB pathway, a key regulator of inflammatory responses[5].

3. Reduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS): In a dry eye model, diquafosol treatment reduced intracellular ROS levels, which are often elevated during cell danger response[1].

4. Inhibition of apoptosis: Diquafosol was found to inhibit apoptosis in corneal epithelial cells, promoting cell survival under stress conditions[1].

5. Activation of protective pathways: Diquafosol increased levels of phosphorylated Erk1/2, p90RSK, and Akt, which are associated with cell survival and stress response modulation[1].

These effects suggest that diquafosol could potentially mitigate aspects of the cell danger response by reducing inflammation, oxidative stress, and cell death while promoting protective cellular mechanisms. However, it's important to note that these findings are primarily based on studies in ocular tissues and dry eye models, and further research would be needed to confirm its effects on cell danger response in other contexts.
