I am on day 3 of recovering from tongue surgery. I had a 1 cm suspected fibroma removed from the side of my tongue. It was done by an oral surgery resident at a dental school. I was pleasantly surprised that the school accepted Medicare as full payment for the procedure so there was no cost.
