No idea, but it seems many of us already have plenty of TUDCA. The recent metabolite study by Maureen Hanson showed TUDCA was very different between patients and controls.
All the other metabolites identified in the volcano plot had higher abundances in patients
compared to controls (Figure S1). These included tauroursodeoxycholate (TUDCA), reported both as a
cytoprotective agent and a chemical chaperone

TUDCA is goodness. Tons of studies showing it helpful for many health issues. It is essentially bile. The alternative to TUDCA is silybin which is thistle extract which is 10x to 20x more absorbed than regular milk thistle. When bile production is dysfunctional, it will cause a chain reaction of health issues... liver, gallbladder, bilary duct, pancreas, kidney etc because cholesterol will not dissolve well and start clogging things up along with digestion issues. As one agesm bile production will likely decrease.
